Join us for an immersive experience at the Group Swimming Lessons, where your child can explore three distinct levels of learning and fun, Saturdays & Sundays over 8 weeks. From beginner basics in Camp Starfish to intermediate skills in Camp Dory and advanced techniques in Camp Shark, our program focuses on building confidence, refining strokes, and promoting water safety. Led by experienced instructors, each 30-minute session strikes a balance between structured learning and engaging activities, ensuring your child's progress and enjoyment. After each session, unwind with a 10-minute playtime, Plus, after each session, there's a 10-minute playtime for some extra fun!
In Camp Starfish, our beginner class, children will learn essential foundational skills to start their swimming journey. Our aim is to lay a strong foundation in this beginner class, ensuring that children have the necessary skills before progressing to the next level to Camp Dory (L2) when they can kick with a Float. We also make learning fun by incorporating games and activities into each session.

The WWK Learn to Swim Programme is designed to empower and inspire your child to learn swimming at their own pace. Our experienced teachers focus on repetitive, accurate, and quality practice with guided discovery and structured play. They coach in the water and each 30-minute lesson is well-planned with clear learning outcomes and fun activities, tailored to your child's individual journey. The child’s maximum concentration and energy levels. We then host 10 minutes for play afterwards.
In Dory, children will progress from foundational skills. Our aim is grow confidence and have the child comfortable in the water ensuring that children have the necessary skills detailed below before progressing to the next level to Camp Shark (L3). We will also make learning fun by incorporating games and activities into each session.
Dory is a progression class where children will learn more about water safety and improve in confidence by:
Answer questions related to personal safety in and around water
Demonstrate the ability to enter and exit Safely
Show the ability to immerse the face in water and blow bubbles while the mouth is underwater.
Retrieve lightweight objects from the bottom of the pool with eyes open.
Look at a partner underwater.
Demonstrate confidence by walking in patterns, jumping, side-stepping, and turning while standing.
Swim a distance of 2 meters with the use of an aid.

Children in shark swimming lessons will learn front crawl, back crawl, and sculling while standing, and build confidence in shallow water by walking, floating, sinking, and playing simple games.
Camp Shark students progress to learning:

How to swim 2 meters prone without aid
How to float 2 meters supine with aid.

Once parents drop your child to their meeting point you may watch the session from the viewing area - Only people swimming are allowed in the pool/changing room area during swimming lessons.
Parent/Guardian must stay on the premises.
