Kilkee Waterworld CLG provides structured school swimming lessons for primary and post-primary schools. Lessons are planned around ability where possible, supporting students to build confidence, develop swimming skills, and improve water safety awareness in a supervised pool environment.

Lesson structure

  • Weekly block programme 8 week cycle or intensive option (by arrangement)
  • Progressive learning with skills building session by session
  • Opportunities to progress as confidence and ability improve

Focus areas

  • Water confidence and safe pool behaviour
  • Core swimming skills and stroke development (age/ability appropriate)
  • Water safety awareness

The weather in Ireland in August was unseasonably cold and windy during our visit. This water park have our 2 year old a wonderful fun filled afternoon when the beach was not an option. There is one very fun water slide that she was able to ride with an adult. The wave pool was also a great time for her. The water was a good temperature. One of the best things about this place is that while you're in inside Waterworld, you can look outside the huge glass windows and see the beach.
