Become an SSI Open Water Diver and unlock the opportunity to dive with any dive Centre anywhere in the world! The open water course combines theory and practical work in a comprehensive course to give you the skills to dive anywhere in the world.
Theory - learn the basics. The theory component of the course can be learned in the comfort of your own home with eLearning. Here you will learn the basic information needed to become an Open Water Diver.
Confined Water - Start putting theory into practice. During the 6 confined water dives, you will be shown the basic skills of Scuba diving.
Open Water - perfect your skills. Continue to build on what you have already learned while exploring local dive sites. During the 4 open-water dives, you will perfect the skills that you have been working on while surrounded by marine life.
Minimum Age: Open Water Diver course available for those aged 10+
Course Duration: 4 full days starting at 10am and finishing at 5pm
What to bring: Swimming Costume, towel, warm clothes for after, lunch and water
Medical: Please read the attached medical before you book. If you answer yes to questions 3, 5, or 10 or any of the questions on page 2, you will need to see your doctor before starting the waterwork.
